About Us

Well we are officially 15 weeks out from our 60th LHS Reunion.  Our projected attendance numbers currently show 64 classmates and 27 guests for Saturday and 33 classmates and 18 guests for Friday night.  According to our survey results, 31% want to do Charlie Joseph’s, 15% want to do a local restaurant, 15% want to do Pyne Road Park and the remainder of you don’t have a preference for the Friday night event. So if you haven’t made your preference known yet, you need to complete the Friday night survey now and I’ll recalculate.  Regardless of what we end up with, I’m sure we’ll have a good time telling stories and updating friends.  Projected attendee lists have posted to our website.  Be sure to check it out.  We will be asking for confirmed reservations and payment of registration fees sometime next month.

The majority of you have said you do not want a band or DJ for Saturday night’s event.  You prefer just a quiet sitdown dinner so you can have good conversations with friends.  Maybe we’re getting old, haha! If you want some type of entertainment for Saturday you need to let us know so we can work on that.  Right now there’s still time to add something but time is running out so respond quickly if there’s something to add.  Saturday’s event will be at the Truitt Vanderbilt Club which is the old Mansour mansion on Broad Street.  It is a beautiful venue and I think everyone will enjoy exploring the old mansion and be pleased.
